There are 6 Branches in Group 3 as seen on
the navigation menu on the left starting with Ashley & District and
finishing with Stone. Select the branch nearest to you and find out
more about it.
Branch Structure
Each branch is administered by it's elected officers, elected annually
at the branch AGM.
Each branch has an elected chairman, vice chairman, branch secretary,
branch treasurer, membership secretary, sports secretary and finally
branch standard bearer.
There is also an appointed branch president who is usually a retired
senior branch officer, however it is not unheard of that the branch
president could be an influential member of the community who's
appointment may well be beneficial to the Royal British Legion and the
local community.
 Each
Branch have their own Poppy Organiser where you can order
wreaths and poppy's through or even volunteer to be a
Poppy Collector. Poppy Appeal 2008 25th October - 11th November.
The branch poppy organiser, is either a member of the branch or a Friend
of the Legion but necessarily a member.
And finally there is the service committee made up of elected branch
members.

The Royal British Legion in North Staffordshire are looking
for people - Poppy People - to join our team of volunteers
and help The Royal British Legion's annual Poppy Appeal to
keep on growing. The Poppy Appeal started way back in 1921
and since then it has gone from strength to strength.
