County Management Course

 

 Aim:
To brief RBL officers, at County level, on County Management structures and procedures, to emphasise their duties and responsibilities and to practice simple project planning at County/District level.

 
     
 

Target Student:
County officers, County Committee Members and specialist County appointments.  Students must have the ability and motivation to take an active part in discussions and syndicate work during the course.

 
     
 

Course Content:
County management structure.
Duties and responsibilities of counties.
Effective county meetings.
Effective county conferences.
Solving problems and planning projects.
Disciplinary procedures.
County budgeting and financial controls.
Trustee responsibilities.
Employment Law.
Inter-relationship with clubs.
County training.
Syndicate Work – Project planning at County/District level.

The structure and development of each course is designed to enhance, encourage and support the attendee in his/her role within the Legion. Everyone involved in these courses are volunteers, each with the sole purpose, students and teachers alike, to gain from experience and to benefit the Legion, it's aims and objectives.
