Gallery - 150th Anniversary of The Victoria Cross Sunday 10th June 2007 Lichfield Cathedral.


While the families  of VC and GC winners, civic, military and honoured guests waited patiently inside Lichfield Cathedral. The parade of standards and banners were forming up outside.

The parade of 97 Standards and Banners, including 7 National with  Staffordshire Cadet Corps of Drums taking the lead under the command Captain David Keats MBE marched down to the west front of the cathedral in anticipation of the arrival of the Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire.

The following is a series of photographs to indicate ceremonial part prior to the start of the service.
