Staffordshire Moorlands Chairman presents cheque for the Poppy Appeal!

Ken Fielding County President, Royal British Legion in North Staffordshire On Tuesday 9th May 2006 a group of Tean Royal British Legion members attended the Staffordshire Moorlands District Council offices at Leek to take part in the presentation cheque awards from the past chairman of Staffordshire Moorlands, who was Mr Pat McGarry. The monies raised during his office were divided between the Royal British Legion, St. John's Ambulance and the RNLI.

The cheque was presented to Mr Ken Fielding RBL county president by Mr Pat McGarry. Mr McGarry is also the chairman of Tean RBL. Also at the presentation was the RBL county pardre the Reverend Eric Last, Mrs Sara Gibson Tean RBL Standard Bearer and Mr Jeff Gibson Tean RBL member. The presntation was a memorable morning and thanks were expressed to Mr McGarry by all three organisations for the extremely generous donations to all the causes.
