Festival of Remembrance In North Staffordshire

16 branch and local organisation standards were  paraded  for the 11th Annual North Staffordshire Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance, Saturday 5th November 2005. 
 

Many VIP guests including the Elected Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent Mark Meredith, the Mayor and Mayoress of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Councillor Colin and Mrs Sheila Brooks. Our honoured County Patron the Earl of Harrowby, Ken Fielding County President and Ken  and Mrs Anne Compton County Chairman,Legion standards paraded at the rear of the stage Major John and Mrs Bamford MBE TD JP where also amongst the guests. Sam Platt Stoke on Trent's Signal Radio.

The 2007 Festival of Remembrance will be held as usual at the Kings Hall, Stoke-on-Trent Saturday 3rd November. Open to members of the public who would like to show their support for the work of the Royal British Legion in North Staffordshire. Tickets are £5.00 all proceeds go to the Poppy Appeal.
